Today is the fourth day of your tour. Today we take you to another important city. That is the city of Kandy. This is said to have existed in Sri Lanka from 1597 to 1815. This kingdom is declared as the last kingdom of our country. Hence this era proves to be the most valuable and plays a major role in Sri Lankan history. So, after visiting the city of Kandy, we will first take you to the Dalada Maligaya or Temple the Tooth located in the city. It is a very beautiful design. Built near a lake, this great temple is a very sacred pilgrimage site. Get ready to receive blessings from the tooth of the Buddha enshrined there, offer flower lamps, and next, you will be taken to a very important and precious place. It is the Kandy National Museum. From this, you can find a lot of information about this era. After that, you are ready to walk around the lake. This is a huge lake and looks very beautiful. While traveling here one can see different types of beautiful fishes, white-colored birds, and different types of birds. So, after spending time in that way you can go to the accommodation that Kandy has prepared for you for your relaxation. Rest there for three to four hours and get ready to travel to the viewpoint of Kandy City as soon as it gets dark. Because when you go there, you can see the whole city of Kandy very beautifully from one place. Here you can see the vehicles moving, the city illuminated by the light bulbs very beautifully.
